Critical theory

The Unit for Criticism and Interpretive Theory is an interdisciplinary program at the University of Illinois that has led debates about poststructuralism and cultural studies, Marxism, postcolonial theory, and the politics of disciplinarity and knowledge production.

I benefited from the regular colloquia and other events. I also participated in the criticism seminar, that focuses in depth on themes, such as critical legal theory (e.g., Roberto Mangabeira Unger’s Knowledge and Politics and The Critical Legal Studies Movement), Bakhtin, or feminism.
